A winner of his first two starts at two, Wonderful World was placed in the Blue Diamond Prelude and Blue Diamond Stakes- Group 1 at his next two appearances.
He returned to Caulfield at three to take both the Group 1 Caulfield Guineas and Group 3 Prelude by a combined margin of over four lengths.
Wonderful World satisfies the important criteria that outstanding stallions need to have been a precocious two-year-old that can run a mile at three and train on.
His near black exterior and perfectly balanced, athletic stature has been stamped into his progeny. Wonderful World's first crop yearlings have proved popular among buyers with returns of over five times their service fee in 2011.
