As a group winning son of internationally acclaimed Royal Academy (USA), Raheeb is an obvious choice for both commercial and
non-commercial breeders.
With two wins from only nine starts at three Raheeb also placed in no less than four black-type races including a close second in the Group 2 Phar Lap Stakes.
At five Raheeb stepped out to be very narrowly beaten in the Group 2 Concorde Stakes before a career highlight three and a half length victory in the Group 3 Cameron Handicap over 1400m at Newcastle.
Showing his soundness and ability as a Group 1 galloper at six, Raheeb hit the track as a serious contender winning the Listed Paris Lane Stakes and running in the top five within one length of the winner, in both the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and Group 1 Toorak Handicap in the Spring.
His multiple stakes winning dam Gatana also having produced Raheeb's full sister in dual stakes winning two-year-old of the Group 3
Blue Diamond Prelude and Listed Debutante Stakes, Picadilly Circus. In turn, she is the dam of Champion three-year-old colt and sprinter in Australia in 2005, the emerging young sire Fastnet Rock.
Fastnet Rock has begun his stud career impressively and the indicators for Raheeb are equally positive. A stunning individual with idol looks, Raheeb has everything going for him to be a stud success.
