Husson (ARG)

Finding the source of pure speed has become easier – or at least we think so through the unbeaten world record breaking champion two-year-old Husson.

A sprinting superstar and multiple Group 1 winner who won Argentina's Golden Slipper equivalent by over nine lengths.

He also ran an astonishing 1:18.98 for 1400m which ranks as one of the fastest times over that distance in the world. There was nothing Husson couldn't or didn't do.

Husson's progeny bear an uncanny physical likeness to their sire which has made them very popular at auction both this year and last .

Husson's weanlings sold to in excess of A.$75,000 in 2010 and his first crop yearlings have this year made over the six figure mark.

Husson has had an astonishing strike rate with his first two-year-old runners in Argentina. From only 13 starters he has already produced four winners and seven placegetters including both the runner-up and fourth over the line in the Group 3 La Plata Clasico Andres S Torres.

His Australian crop of two-year-olds will hit the track in the Spring of this year and we predict they will be early comers. On the source of precocity, we say there is no other stallion at stud that compares to Husson.
