Patinack Farm's $1M Breeders' Bonus
Patinack Farm has launched the Patinack $1 Million Breeders' Bonus - a scheme that will see $1 million in bonuses divided between the breeders and owners of metropolitan winners sired by Patinack Farm's stallions*.
This bonus emphasises the lengths to which Patinack Farm will support our stallions, and our clients. Our plan is to do everything possible for our clients to ensure them the best return, and the bonus applies not only for commercial breeders, but also for those who breed to race.
This plan also includes supporting our stallions with the best of our high-quality band of broodmares; by a commitment to purchase the best progeny of our sires at the yearling sales; and our unique live foal guarantee.
An annual pool of $1,000,000 will be distributed 50/50 to both the breeder and the owner/s of metropolitan race winners (does not include Group races) sired by a Patinack stallion*.
HOW WILL THE BONUS POOL OPERATE?
Patinack Farm will make a maximum pool amount of $1,000,000 available to be paid to eligible Breeders and Owners during the racing season. 1st August - July 31st in any given year.
WHICH HORSES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE BONUS?
The progeny of all Patinack Farm stallions are eligible to receive the bonus. Excluding Beautiful Crown.
WHICH RACES DOES THE BONUS APPLY TO?
All metropolitan 2 and 3 year old races conducted in NSW and Victoria. And every Saturday metropolitan 2 and 3 year old race conducted in Queensland. Excluding Group events.
WHAT IF MY HORSE IS ALREADY REGISTERED FOR A BONUS SCHEME?
The Patinack Farm Bonus will be distributed on top of any other bonuses that are accumulated - BOBS, Super VOBIS and QTIS etc.
HOW WILL THE BONUS BE DISTRIBUTED?
The bonus will be shared equally between the Owner and the Breeder of the horse on a 50/50 basis.
HOW ARE THE OWNER AND BREEDER DETERMINED?
The Breeder will be determined by reference to the owner/s listed on the Stallion Service Contract. The Owner will be determined by reference to the owner/s listed by the State's racing body in which the horse predominantly resides.
HOW DO I CLAIM MY BONUS?
The onus will be on the Owner and the Breeder to notify and claim their respective proportion of the bonus from Patinack Farm (Forms can be downloaded from our website). The Owner and Breeder will have 12 months from the date of the win to apply for bonus payments.
WHY HAVE PATINACK FARM INITIATED THIS BONUS SCHEME?
To reward the broodmare owners who have supported Patinack Farm's roster; and the industry participants who have purchased the progeny of our stallions. We view breeders and owners as an integral part of our operation and we welcome you all to share in the wave of success.
Terms & Conditions
- Patinack will make a maximum pool amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) available to be paid to eligible Breeders & Owners during the racing year (being 1st August to 31st July in any given year).
- The break up is to be as follows: (i) Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for every Saturday metropolitan winner in NSW or Victoria; (ii) Ten Thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for every mid-week metropolitan winner in NSW & Victoria; (iii) Ten Thousand dollars ($10,000.00) for every Saturday metropolitan winner in Queensland.
- The "Breeder" will be determined by reference to the owner listed on the Stallion Service Contract to be entered into between Patinack & the Owner at the time the mare is serviced by a Patinack stallion.
- The "Owner" will be determined by reference to the owner/s listed as owners of the relevant horse as listed by the State's racing body in which it predominantly resides.
- For the avoidance of doubt Patinack mares will, if serviced by an applicable Patinack Stallion, be entitled to participate in the pool in addition to other mares.
- The Bonus will be paid only for wins by Two (2) or Three (3) year old horses.
- Any Bonus will be distributed equally as between the Owner & the Breeder.
- Owners & Breeders will have twelve (12) months from the date of a win to notify & claim their respective proportion of the bonus from Patinack. In the event Patinack is not notified within this period, then, the party not claiming the bonus will be forfeited, at the sole discretion of Patinack.
- To claim the bonus, a Breeder will be required to provide to Patinack, a copy of the Patinack Stallion Service Contract. The Breeder must have complied with all terms of the Patinack Stallion Service Contract. Patinack will confirm the Owners entitlement by reference to the relevant State racing body.
- Upon Patinack being notified of a claim, & confirming entitlement to the bonus, it will pay the same within 14 days to the advised address.
- Applicable Stallions: Casino Prince, Husson (Arg), Lope De Vega (Ire), Monaco Consul (NZ), Murtajill, Raheeb, Wonderful World & Teranaba.
- Patinack reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, including the addition of Applicable Stallions without prior notice.
