Patinack Farm will offer Magic Millions buyers a great reward once again this year as our second Magic Millions January Yearling Draft heads to the Gold Coast.

Not only will buyers have the chance to race their purchase in the ever popular Magic Millions Race Series, their buys will also be eligible for our $1m Breeders’ Bonus incentive scheme. There has been plenty of interest in the bonus since its introduction and we anticipate it will snowball in the coming months with more and more runners by Patinack Farm’s foundation sires hitting the tracks this season.

Included in the draft are two lots by our dual record breaking two-year-old Murtajill. They are precocious types like their sire who won the Breeders’ Plate (L) on debut making Magic Millions January the prefect place to showcase what great types they are.

We have over our initial years built up an unequalled broodmare band of exceptional quality. As has been our business plan, we are now in a position to offer the progeny of our broodmares to the market, on a scale, that will make Patinack Farm into one of the countries leading Vendors

Patinack Farm have enjoyed great success internationally in recent months with the outstanding three-year-old Unannounced, (3yo C Snitzel x Dialogue) who was sold by Patinack Farm to leading South African trainer Charles Laird for $220,000 at the Magic Millions January Yearling Sale in 2010. Unannounced has remained unbeaten in four starts.

Standouts in the draft include -

Lot: 14 -  An outstanding type of colt by Patinack Farm foundation sire Casino Prince from the Barathea mare Happens. This half brother to the multiple group placed Occurrence commands plenty of presence and is sure to impress buyers.

Lot: 362 - This lovely style of filly is by Patinack Farms freshman sire Murtajill. A half sister to Group 1 placed Tennessee Strategy she is great through the legs, has a big deep girth and is the perfect example of what we are seeing by Murtajill.

Lot: 107 - A lovely well balanced colt by Tale Of The Cat from Tasmanian Oaks (L) winner Maha Chakri will certainly turn heads when sold on day one of the sale.

Lot: 474 - This precocious looking colt from smart two-year-old winner Bella Coureuse has a great shoulder and hindquarter and is what you would expect to see by the current leading first season sire Husson (ARG).
