It’s ‘All Too Easy’
Casino Prince looks to have another promising juvenile in the shape of All Too Hard (2 c Casino Prince – Helsinge, by Desert Sun) who impressed when winning a Flemington jumpout over 800m on the course proper Friday morning.
The $1 million half-brother to the unbeaten World’s highest-rated Sprinter in Black Caviar proved too good for the Peter Snowden-trained Forget and four others, running 47.05 seconds, with his last 400 metres in 22.00 and pleased co trainer Wayne Hawkes.
“He handled himself well,” said Hawkes. “He wasn’t out to break any records but we’re happy with him. We wanted to give him a trial and take stock of where he is at.”
“He jumped and went to the front and just did what he had to,” Hawkes added, “Like a lot of the Casino Prince horses he’s lovely and relaxed but we won’t be rushing him.”
