It’s all systems go this weekend for the Patinack Farm stable, as the two-year-old’s look to stamp their place on the track in brisbane.

Three sets of Patinack livery will be required for the $100,000 Phelan Ready Stakes (Listed) for two-year-old colts over 1000m with Aronson (2 c Shamardal – Emme, by Fasliyev), More Than Superb (2 c More Than Ready – Superb Lady, by Canny Lad) and Reflectance (2 c Redoute’s Choice – Lady Capel, by Last Tycoon) all making their debuts.

All three colts showed ability in barrier trials at Doomben on December 6 and Tim Bell is to ride More Than Superb with Scott Galloway on reflectance and Jim Byrne on Aronson.

Three fillies will start in the $100,000 Calaway Gal Stakes (Listed) over 1000m, headed up by Sookie (2 f Casino Prince – Purple Blood, by Encosta de Lago) who looked very smart when winning a barrier trial at Doomben on December 6, running 50,67 in her 800m heat and accounting for the unbeaten Snipzu.

Casino Prince is also represented by Patinack-homebred Change Often (2 f Tennessee Red, by Red Ransom), who ran with promise on debut at Eagle Farm on December 3, as well as Dysfunction (2 f More Than Ready – Vignor, by Flying Spur), who was a close second in a 810m barrier trial at Doomben on December 6.

At Flemington, Ferment (2 c Husson – Catalyst, by Tabasco Cat) runs in the first race, the $70,000 Spotless Plate over 1000m and he has done well on the track since his impressive debut win at Caulfield on December 3 to put his sire Husson at the head of the Australian First-Season Sires’ list.
