2009 Stallions

The philosophy behind the Patinack Farm breeding operation is to provide proven race track performers from within the highest levels of Australian and Overseas racing. Star colt Murtajill joins the 2009 Patinack stallion roster, standing alongside high caliber horses Casino Prince, Wonderful World, and Husson (ARG), who are all proven Group 1 winners, along with the hugely popular BOBS stallion, Beautiful Crown (USA).

We are very excited to offer Murtajill, a precocious well-performed juvenile and dominant 2yo that competed at the highest level all through his 3yo and 4yo. Murtajill set race records in the Breeders Plate and Skyline Stakes at 2, trained on to be a dual Group One runner-up behind Racing To Win and Apache Cat. Mutajill's sire won a record seven consecutive Group 1 races and his dam did what only champions Sunline and Emancipation have done in winning the Doncaster Handicap as a 3yo filly. He is a tremendous addition to our roster this season and will be given every opportunity with the support of our own quality broodmare band. Patinack Farm looks forward together with our clients to breeding strong precocious 2yo’s in the mould of himself.

As a breeder, you can feel extremely confident when you support the Patinack Farm stallions, knowing that each of our horses will be supported with a quality book of mares from within our own broodmare ranks.

Secondly, these stallions will be supported with million dollar incentives to encourage you, the breeder, to maximize the value that exists within your breeding mares. Also, to support the purchases the owners make to investing in the progeny of your breeding initiatives.

Patinack Farm believes that breeders have borne unreasonable risk in the trading environment of broodmares. For that reason, breeders can gain further confidence knowing that each mare covered by our stallions will carry a return cover to the horse irrespective of circumstances. Regardless of whether the mare has been sold prior to foaling, we will also provide all the normal live foal guarantees* that breeders currently have.
