All Silent Wins A Memorable Patinack Farm Classic

Saturday 7 November 2009

Patinack Farm is proud to be associated with the sponsorship of the Patinack Farm Classic (Gr 1), won at Flemington last Saturday in dazzling style by the Grahame Begg trained All Silent.

In what was undoubtedly one of the highlights of a memorable four days racing at the Spring Carnival, All Silent sizzled over the 1200m in 1:08.78, coming from last to first in the space of 400m, flying through his final 400m in 21.71 seconds.

Our heartiest congratulations to Neville and Yvonne Begg in whose colours All Silent runs and we wish them all the very best if All Silent heads to Hong Kong to contest the International Sprint on December 13.

The Patinack Farm Classic is an integral part of the prestigious Global Sprint Challenge with the Hong Kong International Sprint the final leg in the four-race series. Fellow Australian-bred Scenic Blast currently heads the Global Sprint Challenge points table on 33 points but should All Silent make the trip, we are sure the form line of the Patinack Farm Classic will stand him in good stead.

Now in its fifth year, the series, worth US$8 million, is conducted in four countries across the globe; Australia, United Kingdom, Japan and Hong Kong, with Patinack Farm proudly associated with this unique competition.
