Patinack Farm Stallion Parade
On Saturday 29th August, 400 enthusiastic breeders attended the second annual Patinack Farm Stallion parade at Aberdeen.
MC for the parade was TVN’s Richard Haynes who hosted a Q&A with Patinack Farm's Chairman Nathan Tinkler and General Manager Rick Connolly.
The morning saw Nathan Tinkler thank everyone for the support they have given him since his foray into the industry in 2007. He went on to say that the next 12 months will see the majority of Patinack’s unraced horses hit the track and hinted that 2010’s stallion parade could feature the likes of Onemorenomore, Trusting and possibly even a star yet to be unearthed.
With most of the guests having attended last year, the focus was very much on how the new Stallion Murtajill would be received. The feedback was overwhelming, with a lot of breeders confirming their bookings on first inspection.
General Manager Rick Connolly pointed out that that Patinack stallions were all selected on a strict criteria of racetrack performance, type and pedigree and it was pleasing to see so many breeders supporting them in the stallion barn. Rick also provided the crowd with Patinack's vision going forward and highlighted the emphasis on quality and the desire for Group 1 success over the next 12 months.
