New CEO Appointment

Sydney, December 10, 2009: A highly experienced financial executive with 22 years experience in the private and public companies of Kerry Packer’s organisation, Beer was employed by the Consolidated Press Holdings Limited Group in various management and key strategic positions from January 1981 to September 2003. This included 3 years as CFO of the ASX listed investment arm and 8 years overseas as CEO & Director of the international group, managing its international businesses and investments.  In 1998 Beer was also appointed CEO & Director of the international arm of Publishing & Broadcasting Ltd.  The last 6 years has been devoted to private investment interests.


In addition Beer has held a lifetime interest and involvement in the thoroughbred industry both locally and overseas.

Beer will be based in Patinack Farm’s Sydney office and will take up his position commencing Monday 14th December.
