Patinack Farm – Canungra, QLD

With the expansion of Patinack Farm’s breeding operation into Queensland in 2011, the acquisition of a 1000 acres of land has been developed at Benobble, near Canungra. Now home to 150 of Patinack Farm’s broodmares as well as 3 stallions to stand during the 2011 breeding season. The once famous Polo property formerly known as Elysian Fields has now joined with nearby properties Benobble Lodge and Sarah Vale to become Patinack Farm Queensland on the Gold Coast Scenic Rim.  The newly erected state of the art Stallion Barn, Covering Barn, Foaling Unit as well as an Intensive Care Unit and Hospital has been carefully designed to care for the mares and foals on farm.

Patinack Farm – Hunter Valley, NSW

Stretching back from the fertile flats of the Goulburn River to low hills only minutes from the quiet villiage of Sandy Hollow in the Hunter Valley, lies Patinack Farm’s Richmond Grove property.The 3,700 acre property plays host to the major arm of Patinack Farm’s Breeding Operations in both New South Wales and Queensland.Set up as a thoroughbred breeding facility by renowned Studmaster John Vincent, the property was originally known as Manado. The farm changed hands when Colin Hayes and Robert Sangster took over ownership under the name Collingrove in the 1980’s before Robert Sangster assumed full control under the Swettenham Stud banner. Overlooking what was once home to the famous Giants Creek and Denman vineyards of Rosemount Wines, the amalgamation of five adjoining properties in the Sandy Hollow Valley now houses over 430 broodmares, 200 yearlings and 6 stallions.Farm improvements are progressing at a rate of knots, with hundreds of kilometers of post and rail fencing being erected.  Further plans include a new office, stallion complex and multi-purpose centre amongst other initiatives.

Patinack Farm – Aberdeen, NSW

Nestled on a quiet bend of the Pages River overlooking the historic Allanbridge is the foundation property of  Patinack Farm’s mammoth operation.  Formerly known as Allanbridge Stud the property was purchased in 2007 to house Patinack Farm’s rapidly growing bloodstock portfolio. Situated in the heart of the Segenhoe Valley near Scone, the farm is surrounded by some of the industries powerhouses. The inviting tree lined driveway extends to an open barn complex, hospital, horse walker and long term spelling paddocks which now play host to Patinack Farm’s racehorses spelling in New South Wales.The fertile black soil and flat country act as the ideal retreat from stable life. The natural environment is perfect for the rejuvenation of our racehorses after a successful racing campaign.
