Broodmares
As far as Patinack Farm is concerned, nothing is impossible. In just a few short years we have assembled a broodmare band at Patinack Farm that comprises both quantity and quality.
Over 500 mares now grace the paddocks, combining pedigree and performance in a mouth-watering list of potential genetic excitement.
Included amongst the mares with proven track performance are the likes of International Champions, the South African filly Sun Classique as well as her dam Elfenjer, and the Chilean Classic winner Scarlet (Dushyantor).
No less than 12 Group 1 winners include mares like Bel Mer (Bel Esprit), Heavenly Glow (Spinning World), Serious Speed (Royal Academy), La Montagna (Monashee Mountain), champion juvenile Victory Vein (Mr Henrysee), as well as recent addition Allez Wonder (Redoute’s Choice).
From our own racing arm we welcome Group 1 winners Linky Dink and the SA Oaks winner Small Minds with stakes winning fillies like Marquardt, Happy Hippy and Run For Naara to look forward to when they have finished winning on the track this season.
Mares already proven in the paddock include Jade Tiara, the dam of World Champion Sprinter Silent Witness, Midnight Ballet, dam of Australian Guineas winner Rock Classic, Legible (NZ), the dam of Warwick Stakes winner Trusting, Trewornan, the dam of Group 1 winner Road To Rock, Volted In, a half sister to Group 1 winners Drum, Anamato and Tambour, the dam of multiple Group 1 winner and champion older horse in Australia Grand Armee. Also included in this illustrious list is Ocean Bridge, the dam of the ill-fated Breeders’ Plate winner Run For Wilson.
Performance is one element, pedigree is another and included among the pedigree pages to delight the connoisseur are the likes of Luxury On The Lake, a daughter of ‘Blue Hen’ Grand Luxe, Jambu (Fr), a close relative of Group 1 winners and Champion sires Flying Spur and Encosta de Lago and Sarvon, a half-sister to Group 1 winner Onemorenomore.
